Site and Booking Experience
2016-2018

From 2016-2018, I led brand and product design at Bellhops, a growth stage startup working to solve problems present in the traditional moving space through an asset-light, app-based marketplace model. Over the course of my time there, we formed an agile design approach that enabled rapid growth and scalability. We refined and implemented brand standards, overhauling the look, feel and functionality of the products and experiences we offered. In addition to supporting the product team, I played a key role in developing and designing integrated marketing campaigns to drive growth.

An updated homepage in 2017 resulted in a 17% lift in conversion rate for those entering the online booking flow.

Rigorous AB testing and step-by-step optimization of the online booking flow saw decreased drop-off rates and increased conversions month-over-month for the entirety of 2017-2018.

This moving services overview page was the largest source of organic traffic. Through constant SEO tweaks and best practices, Bellhops gained traction and quickly moved above its competitors in the SERPs.

Driving Traffic to the Site

In addition to supporting the product design team, I was a key part of developing and creating integrated marketing campaigns to drive growth. Because Bellhops was a rapidly scaling and evolving company, consistency was key as we built these campaigns out across a wide variety of channels.
