Selected Print Advertising, 2013-2015
Spring 2013 (USA / International): Product ads focused on Mountain Hardwear's 'As simple as possible and no simpler' design aesthetic, highlighting the brand's proprietary technologies and fabrics. The Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket was the lightest jacket in its class, insulated with waterproof down and built from fabric only one mill in the world was capable of producing. The Plasmic Jacket employed waterproof zippers and a waterproof-breathable fabric that used a printed pattern to channel moisture away from the skin.
Fall 2014 (USA and Canada): Print ads for a seasonal brand campaign built on the foundation of sharing stories that fell under the wide theme of 'Finding Winter'. Social media users shared photos of winter experiences and tagged #findingwinter to be featured on Mountain Hardwear's channels. These full page advertisements ran in Outside Magazine, Backpacker, Men's Journal and several ski publications.
Spring 2015 (USA / International): Seasonal system for product-specific and general brand advertisements. We worked to support Mountain Hardwear's zoned insulation technology for sleeping bags, a new feature for in-line product and in styles designed exclusively for REI. These ads appeared in Gear Guide editions of several publications, and templates were distributed to global teams for use in international markets.
